The Mel Gibson Apology

No list of celebrity apologies would be complete without Mel Gibson. His long history of personal and public tirades have often resulted in a public apology.

The apologies may have been issued out of a true sense of remorse although his critics believe that they were simply delivered in an attempt to repair his damaged popularity and career.

Public Apologies of the Rich and Famous

We can learn a lot from public mea culpas, because they provide insight into the art of delivering the perfect apology, regardless of whether they succeed or fail.

In our ongoing pursuit of the perfect public apology we take a look at the following case studies.

The Tracy Morgan Apology
After Tracy Morgan made several homophobic comments threatening to harm his son if he ever admitted to his sexual preferences, the comedian was forced to issue an apology to his fans and bosses.

The Chris Brown Apology:
Chris Brown assaulted Rihanna and pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault -- the gruesome photos indicated a severe beating. The Chris Brown apology fell short of the mark.

As part of our series on business apology case studies we bring you the Domino's Pizza Apology.
